Legal Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Legal Coordinator to join our team and play a critical role in supporting the Legal Director and managing the day-to-day operations of the legal department. This role requires solid experience in the renewable energy sector, preferably in solar energy, and a strong contractual and consultative background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Legal Director in overseeing the legal department’s operations, including demand intake, workload prioritization, SLA drafting, and KPI monitoring.
- Prepare, review and monitor extrajudicial claims, notices, and formal letters, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and risk mitigation.
- Conduct legal analysis, review, and negotiation of infrastructure contracts, with particular emphasis on supply agreements for trackers to distributed and centralized generation plants.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, operations, commercial teams) to ensure legal alignment with business objectives.
- Assist the Legal Director in compliance matters, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers, interns, and support staff, fostering their professional development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Law degree with strong focus on contract law and corporate law.
- Proven legal experience in the renewable energy sector, preferably in solar generation projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in complex contract negotiations and management of large-scale infrastructure agreements.
- Solid leadership experience in coordinating legal teams and developing junior professionals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to both legal and non-legal audiences.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Curiosity, strong desire for self-development and excellent interpersonal skills
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Office 365) tools.
