Getnet Platforms, part of Santander Payment Solutions, seeks a versatile lawyer to support commercial agreements, IT/IP and data protection matters in Brazil. Based in São Paulo with flexible hybrid work, you will advise subsidiaries and monitor regulatory changes while collaborating with senior management and external counsel.

The ideal candidate holds a Law Degree, is a native Portuguese speaker, and fluent in English or Spanish, with strong experience in financial services regulation and

Qualificações

• Native Portuguese speaker with C1 English or Spanish.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong experience advising on IT, IP and data protection law.
• Strong experience of financial services regulation, including outsourcing and cybersecurity regulations.
• Law degree required.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including SaaS contracts and outsourcing arrangements.
• Provide governance and company secretarial support to Getnet Platforms' Brazil subsidiaries.
• Advise on regulatory changes affecting payments, data, IP and financial services.
• Support ad hoc projects and transactions with senior management and external counsel.
• Keep abreast of industry consultations and training on regulatory developments in financial services and payments innovation.

For this position you'll be based in São Paulo, Brasil.

What you'll do

• Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, including supplier and customer-facing SaaS contracts and material/critical outsourcing arrangements and providing advice on commercial, IT, IP and data protection aspects.
• Providing company secretarial and governance support to GetNet Platforms' subsidiaries in Brazil.
• Advising in relation to regulatory changes which present both an opportunity and challenge for the GetNet Platforms business, including regulations impacting payments, data, intellectual property, and financial services
• Supporting ad hoc projects and transactions working closely with senior management, other GetNet legal teams and, where appropriate, external counsel
• Keeping abreast of and contributing to industry consultations and internal training covering regulatory and market developments in financial services and payments innovation.

What we're looking for

• Native Portuguese speaker with C1 English or Spanish
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong experience advising on IT, IP and data protection law.
• Strong experience of financial services regulation, including outsourcing and cybersecurity regulations.
• Law Degree
