Qualificações

• Four‑year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Typically has 7+ years of work experience, preferably in software quality assurance, test harnesses and QA focused tools.

Responsabilidades

• Leads multiple project teams of software engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of product validation.
• Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development and QA partners on software and firmware design and development.
• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with HP guidelines and standards; provides feedback to improve product quality.
• Contributes to refining technology validation methodologies and testing processes.
• Participates in release and deployment activities to ensure a smooth transition from development to production environments.
• Provides insights into test planning and execution during team meetings to foster transparent communication.
• Provides domain-specific expertise and software quality leadership across projects and activities.
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects in software testing and validation.
• Mentors junior QA team members and shares knowledge and best practices.

Job Summary

• This role is responsible for delivering software solutions that meet the needs and expectations of users and stakeholders by upholding quality standards and advocating for best practices. The role collaborates with project managers, development teams, and stakeholders to define technology and product validation strategy, process, tools, including the automated pipelines for benchmarking and QA testing. The role provides regular updates on product performance and quality trends to the stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leads multiple project teams of software engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of the products and platforms validation, including performance analysis, coding, results evaluation, and proposed corrective actions.
• Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development and quality assurance partners on software and firmware design and development.
• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with HP guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
• Contributes to refining technology validation methodologies, fostering continuous improvement in test processes.
• Participates in release and deployment activities to ensure a smooth transition of software from development to production environments.
• Provides valuable insights into test planning and execution during regular team meetings, fostering a culture of transparent communication.
• Provides domain‑specific expertise and overall software quality leadership and perspective to cross‑organization projects, programs, and activities.
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software testing and technology validation.
• Mentors junior QA team members and share knowledge and best practices within the QA team.

Education & Experience Recommended

• Four‑year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7+ years of work experience, preferably in software quality assurance, test harnesses and QA focused tools, or a related field.
