Jobtailor is seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to lead the evolution of our enterprise AI platform, setting governance standards and designing reusable architectures. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Cybersecurity and Platform teams, and drive the platform’s evolution strategy across the organization.

The role demands strong Python development, expertise in MLOps, MLflow, and Databricks AI, and the ability to influence architectural decisions in a global environment.

Responsabilidades

Technically lead the evolution of the enterprise AI platform and its shared capabilities.
Define governance standards for LLMs, AI Gateway, Skills, MCPs, and intelligent agents.
Design reusable architectures and frameworks to accelerate AI initiatives across the organization.
Lead evaluations of new technologies and define the platform’s evolution strategy.
Establish MLOps, MLflow, versioning, and governance standards for AI solutions.
Serve as a technical reference for Analytics Engineers and other teams that consume the platform.
Work closely with Cybersecurity, Architecture, and Platform Engineering to ensure solution security, scalability, and compliance.
Mentor engineers and promote AI Platform Engineering best practices.

Requirements

Solid experience with AI platforms and Large Language Models (LLMs)
Experience building shared AI frameworks, libraries, or platforms
Proficiency in Python for developing AI solutions
Knowledge of AI Gateway, MLflow, MLOps, and Databricks AI
Experience with governance, security, and best practices for enterprise AI
Ability to define technical standards and influence architectural decisions
English proficiency for working in a global environment
Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or intelligent-agent frameworks (a plus)
Experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) (a plus)
Experience developing AI Agents for enterprise environments (a plus)
Knowledge of Unity Catalog and Data Governance (a plus)
Microsoft Azure or Databricks certifications (a plus)
Participation in defining roadmaps and strategies for AI platforms (a plus)

Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in AI Platform Engineering, focusing on the development and governance of AI solutions, including proficiency in Python and experience with MLOps and MLflow. Capable of leading architectural decisions and mentoring teams while ensuring compliance and security across AI initiatives.
