Eurofins develops all software applications in-house to support our laboratories globally. With hundreds of thousands of clinical diagnostic tests performed daily, our laboratories strive to ensure that every patient has access to the most specialized and innovative diagnostic techniques. This requires extensive planning and organization, augmented by technology.

What business will you support?

Eurofins is developing eLIMS-NG, the ‘Eurofins Laboratory Information Management System - Next Generation’. eLIMS-NG is a comprehensive suite of tools to support testing in our laboratories worldwide.

How can you help us?

As a Junior Software Developer, you will contribute to delivering high-quality software, building and maintaining delivery pipelines, and embracing test automation and continuous delivery in an Agile environment.

You will support, coach, and review code from other developers, and develop strong relationships within the Eurofins IT community, following team lead and stakeholder guidelines.

As a Junior Software Developer, you will:

• Deliver and maintain high-quality software through analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, operation, and support.
• Embrace Agile practices and adhere to Eurofins guidelines throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with users, analysts, architects, deployment teams, and stakeholders to design fit-for-purpose software and features.
• Develop relationships within the wider IT community and with internal customers.
• Foster a positive team spirit.
• Support, coach, and review code from other developers.

Qualifications

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

• Minimum 1 year of experience developing end-to-end solutions using .NET (C#) and Angular.
• Understanding of software design principles.
• Knowledge of n-tier architecture, test-driven development, and test automation.
• Experience with full-stack development, frontend and backend technologies.
• Good understanding of relational databases (MS SQL).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Knowledge of software implementation best practices (e.g., SOLID).
• Ability to solve technical problems related to the codebase.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good English communication skills (written and oral). Knowledge of another language is a plus.
