AgileTV seeks a Manual QA Engineer to ensure high-quality digital TV experiences across Web, Android, iOS, and Smart TV apps in São Paulo. You will execute manual test cases, validate features, and collaborate with developers to reproduce and track defects.

You’ll participate in sprint planning, perform regression testing, and help improve QA processes while working in a collaborative, growth-focused environment that values attention to detail and user satisfaction.

Qualificações

• 1+ years of manual QA experience.
• Experience testing Web and Mobile apps (Android/iOS).
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management.
• Experience with bug tracking/test management tools like Jira, Xray, or similar.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Portuguese and English proficiency (B2+).

Responsabilidades

• Execute manual test cases and test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
• Validate apps across Web, Mobile, and Smart TV platforms.
• Report, document, and track defects using Jira; collaborate with developers.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and agile ceremonies.
• Validate cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Support QA process improvements and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to ensure quality releases.

We are looking for a Manual Jr. QA Engineer to join our team!

At AgileTV, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality of our digital TV platform across Android, iOS, Smart TV, and Web applications, helping us deliver the best entertainment experiences to millions of users.

What You'll Do

• Execute manual test cases and test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate digital TV applications across Web, Mobile (Android/iOS), and Smart TV platforms.
• Test video streaming, playback, authentication, search, recommendations, and content management functionalities.
• Report, document, and track defects using Jira and collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
• Validate cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA colleagues to ensure high-quality product releases.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer.
• Experience testing Web and Mobile applications (Android and iOS).
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management.
• Experience using bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Xray, or similar.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English (B2 level or higher).

Nice to Have

• Experience testing OTT, IPTV, digital TV, video streaming, or Smart TV applications.
• Experience with Jira, Xray, TestRail, or similar QA tools.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
• Spanish language skills.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
