CI&T is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Java and Python expertise to build modern, AI-enhanced software. You will own end-to-end development of cloud-native services, leverage AI tools to automate tasks, and drive rapid delivery with a strong DevOps mindset.

You will collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA to deliver scalable enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure, applying microservices and distributed systems patterns while maintaining high quality and security

Qualificações

• Expert-level Java and strong Python development skills.
• Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Cloud, data engineering, and microservices experience is required.
• AI-first software development experience is a plus.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration abilities.

Senior Java + Python Developer with AI Skills!

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java and Python who is passionate about building modern, scalable software while leveraging Artificial Intelligence to dramatically improve engineering productivity. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who embraces AI-first software development, automates repetitive engineering tasks, and takes end-to-end ownership of the services they build.

Must-Have Skills (Required)

• Core Programming: Expert-level Java, Strong Python development, Object-Oriented Design, Spring Boot, RESTful API Development.
• Cloud & Data Engineering: Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, SQL and Data Modeling.
• Architecture & Microservices: Microservices Architecture, Distributed Systems, Event-Driven Architecture, REST API Design.
• DevOps & Modern SDLC: Git, CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile/Scrum practices.
• AI-First Software Development: Practical use of AI tools like GitHub Copilot, AI-Assisted Code Generation, Debugging, and Workflow Automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Advanced/fluent English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Develop enterprise applications using Java and Python.
• Build modern cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Design and implement secure RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Deliver production-ready software following Agile and DevOps best practices.

AI-First Engineering

• Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve software delivery speed, quality, and consistency.
• Build reusable AI workflows that automate repetitive engineering activities.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve developer productivity using AI.

Developer Productivity & Automation

• Develop AI-driven solutions to automate code generation, testing, documentation, debugging, refactoring, and CI/CD pipelines.

Collaboration

• Work closely with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while promoting engineering excellence and AI adoption.
