About the team

The Device Management Product team is crucial in standardizing processes and technology platforms by implementing precise solutions for IT asset management. It is responsible for developing strategies and planning investments for assets, acquisitions, and efficient operations.

Our commitment is to ensure the complete lifecycle of end-user devices by applying operating system updates, managing vulnerabilities, and offering customized configurations. We conduct installations aimed at resolving issues, introducing new features, and enhancing the reliability and security of these devices, always focusing on optimizing the user experience.

Our goal is to implement asset management that prioritizes smarter investments, promotes cost savings, and enhances operational efficiency through global standardization and best practices, with a focus on innovation and technological excellence.

You will be responsible for

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer who can provide significant value to our team through technical leadership, autonomy, and strategic problem-solving. The ideal candidate should possess robust technical skills, exceptional communication, and mentoring abilities to guide junior analysts within the team.

Responsibilities and required soft skills

• Planning, Collaboration, and Execution: Plan and execute features and tasks through the team and other Business Units, breaking down features into manageable tasks, leading, involving others, and mentoring junior members. Must have advanced planning, project management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Specialization and Technical Translation: Support by translating technical language into business terms and making data-driven decisions. Proficiency in technical skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication with non-technical stakeholders are essential.
• Impact and Execution: Seek process improvements through code and team initiatives, automate manual processes, and introduce new tools to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Support and Knowledge Dissemination: Support teams on complex projects, manage stakeholder expectations, lead technical reviews, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Problem-Solving and Obstacle Removal: Identify and resolve critical problems, focus on root causes, and remove technical obstacles. Lead the team in diagnosing and resolving system issues, conducting retrospectives to prevent future problems.
• Communication and Leadership: Address communication issues, guide team discussions, provide ongoing feedback, and facilitate an innovative and collaborative environment.
• Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Provide and seek feedback regularly, conduct post-project reviews, and develop action plans to improve team performance.

We are looking for a person who

• Is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Has experience with operating systems such as macOS, Linux, and Windows.
• Has experience with databases (e.g., MariaDB, SQL, PostgreSQL).
• Is familiar with AWS Cloud environments (e.g., Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Knows DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Has experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
• Proficient in programming languages like Shell Script, Python, Java, or .NET.
• Experienced with scripting, automation, and APIs.
• Possesses strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Is familiar with agile methodologies.
• Has excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.

Product Functionality

• Device Management: setup and deployment.
• Experience with MDM solutions, Apple Admin, Linux Admin (e.g., Jamf, MDM).
• Configure and manage device security policies.
• Deploy and manage applications on devices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot device issues.
• Implement device and application security measures.
• Provide technical support for mobile and desktop devices.
• Ensure device software updates.
• Facilitate peer programming and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on security and device management best practices.
• Align with the product team on device management tasks.
• Knowledge of Apple ADE (Automated Device Enrollment).
