Jobtailor is looking for a data analytics professional to support Internal Audit through developing queries across multiple data sources, creating dashboards and tests to identify risks, and maintaining documentation and standards. You will routinely interpret technical and business requirements to enable data-driven decisions and knowledge sharing within the team.

Ideal candidates have a strong foundation in SQL, Python or R, data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau, and an English

• Proven experience developing queries and ETL routines from business requirements, as well as creating dashboards and reports.

• Work with the Internal Audit team to perform tests and identify relevant risks.
• Maintain a critical view of the business and its processes.
• Support the creation and maintenance of area documentation and standards.
• Promote and share knowledge about the use of data within Internal Audit.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain queries across multiple data sources applying business rules;
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for Internal Audit;
• Work with the Internal Audit team to perform tests and identify relevant risks;
• Maintain a critical view of the business and its processes;
• Support the creation and maintenance of area documentation and standards;
• Promote and share knowledge about the use of data within Internal Audit.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing queries and ETL routines from business requirements, as well as creating dashboards and reports;
• Application of data analysis techniques to identify outliers and generate insights;
• Preferable experience in Internal Audit, Internal Controls, or Risk teams;
• Bachelor’s degree completed in Engineering, Technology, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative fields;
• Postgraduate degree completed or in progress in a data-related area;
• Knowledge of data, methods and tools:
• Tools for analytical environments (on-premises and cloud);
• Programming logic;
• Data consumption and manipulation languages (SQL, Python, R, etc.);
• Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.);
• Consuming data from different sources and databases;
• Application of statistical techniques, and interpretation and analysis of results;
• Ability to interpret technical and business requirements for data applications;
• Ability to use data to support strategic, business-focused decision-making;
• Intermediate English;
• Certifications in data/tools/analytical environments.
