BEES, AB InBev’s B2B platform, seeks a backend Java developer in the São Paulo area to help build scalable, reliable services.

You will design RESTful APIs, work with Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud platforms, and collaborate with product managers and QA to deliver robust solutions.

Qualificações

• Experience developing backend applications using Java.
• Strong understanding of OOP, Clean Code, SOLID, and design patterns.
• Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational databases and messaging systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java.
• Implement features based on business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA, and others to deliver scalable solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and improve code quality and standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and non-production issues.
• Design integrations with internal and external systems.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions.
• Monitor performance and contribute to reliability and observability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to architecture and processes.

What you will do:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java.

• Monitor application performance and contribute to system reliability, scalability, and observability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to architecture, development processes, and operational excellence.

We are looking for people with:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• Experience developing backend applications using Java.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Clean Code,SOLID principles, and software design patterns.
• Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing practices and frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of observability concepts, including logging, monitoring, and metrics.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
