BEES, AB InBev’s B2B platform, is hiring for a backend engineer in Campinas to build and maintain scalable services. You will work with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, and microservices, delivering robust APIs and event-driven solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product, QA, and frontend teams, adherence to clean code and SOLID principles, and contribution to reliability and performance. Hybrid work and modern tech stack offered.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• Experience developing backend applications using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of OOP, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems concepts.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server).
• Familiarity with messaging platforms like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of observability concepts (logging/monitoring/metrics).

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Kotlin.
• Implement new features based on business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and non-production issues.
• Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions.
• Monitor application performance and contribute to reliability and observability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in architecture and development processes.

We are looking for people with:

• Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing practices and frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
