BEES, AB InBev’s B2B platform, seeks a backend engineer to develop, maintain, and evolve scalable Java/Kotlin services and microservices. You will implement features, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and uphold high code quality with automated tests.

Required expertise includes Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, OOP/SOLID, and database/messaging tech. Familiarity with cloud platforms and observability is a plus. Join a fast-paced team delivering robust commerce solutions.

Qualificações

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
Experience developing backend applications using Java and/or Kotlin.
Solid understanding of OOP, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server).
Familiarity with messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
Knowledge of unit and integration testing practices and frameworks.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Understanding of observability concepts (logging, monitoring, metrics).

Responsabilidades

Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Kotlin.
Implement features based on business and technical requirements.
Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following engineering best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to code quality and standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve production and non-production issues.
Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions.
Monitor application performance and contribute to reliability and observability.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to architecture and development processes.

We are looking for people with:

Intermediate English skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
Experience developing backend applications using Java and/or Kotlin.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Clean Code,SOLID principles, and software design patterns.
Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
