Job summary

Comfort Home Interior is seeking an interior designer to translate client lifestyle requirements into design concepts. You will produce 2D/3D plans and mood boards, and coordinate with suppliers and contractors to keep projects on track.

You must have a diploma in Architecture or Interior Design and at least 1 year of related experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max or equivalent and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Architecture/ Interior Design or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of experience in interior design or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Coohom, Photoshop or similar tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Outline client design objectives by understanding lifestyle requirements and visual direction.
• Prepare 2D/3D design plans and mood boards.
• Coordinate with suppliers and workers; manage site coordination and project timelines.
• Prepare quotations and progress claims; ensure projects are completed on time.

Job Scope

• Outline client design objectives by communicating with clients to understand lifestyle requirements, needs & visual direction.
• Prepare 3d, 2d and SketchUp design plans.
• Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision.
• Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.
• Prepare and submit progress claims and invoice billing.
• Prepare quotation for interior design projects
• Upgrades learning and maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant
• Site coordination, liaising with suppliers and workers, management skills for interior design projects
• Handles and complete projects on time

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Architecture/ Interior Design or equivalent
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• The candidate must be competent in AutoCAD, Canva, SketchUp, 3D Max, Coohom, Photoshop or other design programs and Microsoft Office
