Moody's Local Brazil is seeking a Working Student for Infrastructure & Project Finance internship. You will support analysts across credit analysis, financial modeling, and data-driven tasks in a dynamic, global financial services environment.
You will develop skills in credit research, cash flow modeling, and automation while learning Moody's methodologies and client-facing processes. The program begins January 2027 and targets students graduating soon.

Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong research, analytical, and quantitative skills
Solid academic background with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial modeling
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
Knowledge of Python, Power BI, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is a plus
Understanding of cash flow modeling techniques is a plusProgramming and coding skills are considered an asset
Students expected to graduate within the next 12 months
The program starts in January 2027
Provide analytical, statistical, and research support to junior and senior analysts covering companies within the Utilities, Infrastructure, and Project Finance sectors in Brazil
Assist in credit rating and research-related activities by gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial and operational information
Prepare and maintain financial spreadsheets, models, charts, and databasesReview legal documentation and contracts to understand transaction structures, issuance terms, covenants, and guarantees
Produce analytical summaries of quantitative and qualitative information to support credit analysis and rating decisions
Identify trends and patterns in financial and operational data, applying analytical judgment to support well-founded credit conclusions
Develop an understanding of Moody's Local methodologies and their application to credit analysis
Perform routine administrative and ad hoc credit-related tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor
Participate in data science and automation initiatives where programming and coding skills may be applied
The Working Student will join the Utilities, Infrastructure, and Project Finance team at Moody's Local Brazil, supporting analysts across a variety of research, analytical, and operational activities. This role offers exposure to credit analysis, financial modeling, and rating-related work while providing valuable experience within a leading global financial services organization.
