AgileEngine seeks an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds. You will own automation, tooling, and incident management to keep services reliable at scale.

The role requires hands-on Kubernetes production experience, strong Linux fundamentals, and expertise with public clouds (Azure or AWS). You will collaborate with product teams and support growth while maintaining security and performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes production experience (≥4 years).
• Strong Linux and CLI fundamentals.
• Experience with public clouds (Azure or AWS).
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex systems end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across cloud environments.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts and up-to-date runbooks.
• Manage incidents from end-to-end, including RCA and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components current.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale with demand.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

MUST HAVES

• Hands-on experience of at least 4 years operating Kubernetes in production, ideally with Service Mesh.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Confident debugging and troubleshooting complex systems, from the application layer through to lower-level infrastructure.
• Experience working with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.

NICE TO HAVES

• Working knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Tempo is a plus.
• Scripting or coding in Python or Java is a strong plus.
• CI/CD, infrastructure as code such as Helm or Terraform is a plus.
• Financial services background is not required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
