AgileEngine is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across cloud environments, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

You will maintain runbooks, onboard clients onto the platform, and build automation to reduce manual work while scaling capacity to meet demand. The role offers flextime with remote/office options and USD-based compensation.

Qualifikationen

• Kubernetes production experience (4+ years) required.
• Strong Linux and CLI fundamentals.
• Ability to debug complex systems end-to-end.
• Experience with a public cloud provider (Azure or AWS) preferred.

• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts with updated runbooks and documentation.
• Manage incidents end-to-end including root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.

• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

MUST HAVES

• Hands-on experience of at least 4 years operating Kubernetes in production, ideally with Service Mesh.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Confident debugging and troubleshooting complex systems, from the application layer through to lower-level infrastructure.
• Experience working with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.

NICE TO HAVES

• Working knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Tempo is a plus.
• Scripting or coding in Python or Java is a strong plus.
• CI/CD, infrastructure as code such as Helm or Terraform is a plus.
• Financial services background is not required.
