ECARX in São Bernardo do Campo is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design and maintain infotainment and connectivity software for automotive electronics. You will work on AAOS/GAS based modules and ensure robust integration with IVI/ADAS features.

This role requires coordinating with teams in China and Europe, performing bench and vehicle testing, writing unit tests, and reviewing code to improve performance.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in the automotive embedded systems and automotive electronics industry.
• Hands-on experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and/or Google Automotive Services (GAS); software development experience based on Android Automotive is a strong plus.
• Practical experience working on In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) or Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of automotive software development processes, relevant industry standards and cross-regional software integration work.
• Be dynamic, curious and proactive, able to multitask efficiently, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with teams in China, Brazil and Europe.
• Fluent Portuguese and English communication skills are mandatory.
• Must work on-site daily in São Bernardo do Campo; home office is not available in the initial stage.

Responsabilidades

• Support pre-assessing software issues raised by the Brazil local team.
• Write unit and integration tests for automotive software modules.
• Conduct code review and optimize overall software performance.
• Support software integration activities covering Brazil APPs, VHAL and other related components.
• Coordinate with China and European engineering teams to identify and resolve integration issues. Provide technical support for Brazil local software version acceptance activities.
