Job summary

CBSL Transportation Services, Inc. is hiring an IBC Technician to maintain cleanliness of tanks and related equipment across facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning totes/containers, exteriors, valves, and associated components; documenting and ensuring proper order completion and certification signatures.

Applicants should meet the listed physical and safety requirements and pass background checks. The role offers stability with a long-standing company in the bulk transportation industry

Qualifications

• Tank cleaning experience is desired.
• Must be able to pass a respirator fit test and wear as normal duties (Clean Shave).
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs overhead and stand/walk/bend frequently.

Responsibilities

• Clean all equipment, tanks, and peripheral equipment.
• Ensure cleaning orders are completed correctly and signed by the cleaner.
• Verify cleaning and test certifications are completed properly.

Duties include (but not limited to):

Responsible for cleaning all equipment ensuring that all tanks and peripheral equipment are cleaned. Responsible for the proper cleaning of tote/ containers exteriors, external valves, pressure relief valves, vacuum relieve valves, valve area and caps. Checking in units to our facility according to company procedures and making sure that BOL’s are done properly for all orders departing. Ensure that each cleaning order is completed correctly and that each cleaning order is signed by the cleaner performing that clean (includes cleaning and test certs).

Job Requirements Include:

• Tank Cleaning Experience Desired
• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be able to pass a respirator fit test and wear as normal duties.(Clean Shave)
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Overhead
• Position requires frequent standing, bending and walking
• Must be able to withstand weather conditions
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.
