Amazon is seeking an exceptional Senior Manager of Product Management to lead our Credit Business Unit within the Brazil (BR) Payments team. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of Amazon's credit products in Brazil, managing the complete P&L and overseeing core business functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and scaling credit products that create value for millions of customers while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
As the Single Thread Leader, you will shape the future of Amazon's credit offerings in Brazil, working closely with global and local teams to drive innovation, growth, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong business acumen and business writing skills, a solid understanding of the Brazilian credit industry and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
• Own end-to-end P&L responsibility for the credit business unit, including strategy development, execution, and performance optimization
• Lead overall business and product strategy, ensuring alignment with both platform and local charter objectives
• Drive end-to-end business launch initiatives
• Manage and prioritize product roadmap and backlog, balancing business opportunities with regulatory requirements
• Build and lead high-performing teams across product, tech, and business functions
• Partner closely with Tech, Risk Management, Finance, and PBO teams to ensure successful execution of initiatives
• Drive synergies between platform capabilities and local market needs
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership and regulatory bodies
• Work and manage external partners
About the team
The Brazil Payments team is a dynamic organization within Amazon's International Emerging Store business, focused on developing and scaling innovative payments and financial products for Brazil. The Credit Business Unit plays a crucial role in expanding financial access and driving customer engagement.
Our vision is to be the provider of the most innovative, secure and customer friendly payment options to customers in BR, providing access, driving engagement and increasing affordability through the value-added benefits and seamless experience that our products offer.
- 12+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 6+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Deep experience in credit or financial services products, including hands-on experience in building and scaling consumer lending solutions, credit underwriting strategies
- Experience engaging and influencing senior executives
