Alignerr is seeking a GRC Analyst to join our remote, hourly-contract program focused on AI training data governance. You will review security policies, assess risk, and help shape compliant, high-quality AI datasets used in frontier models.

The role combines practical GRC work with the unique demands of AI development: evaluating frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST, annotating data, and providing precise feedback.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of hands-on GRC, compliance, or risk management experience.
• Familiarity with major frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar.
• Ability to read and interpret policy documents, audit reports, and control documentation.
• Detail-oriented with strong written reasoning.
• Able to work independently and deliver high-quality output.

About The Role

We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, safer AI — and we need practitioners who know GRC from the inside out. As a GRC Analyst, your real-world experience with compliance frameworks, risk assessments, and security controls will directly shape how AI systems reason about these critical domains.

This isn't a traditional compliance role. You'll be working at the intersection of your professional expertise and cutting-edge AI development — reviewing scenarios, evaluating AI outputs, and helping create the high-quality datasets that frontier models are trained on.

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management
• Solid familiarity with one or more major frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI‑DSS, or similar
• Comfortable reading and interpreting policy documents, audit reports, and control documentation
• Detail-oriented with strong written reasoning skills
• Able to work independently and deliver consistent, high-quality output

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
• Background in information security, internal audit, or enterprise risk management
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP
