UBS in São Paulo seeks an experienced investment banker to originate and execute M&A, ECM and DCM transactions across Energy, Utilities and Industrials. You will build long-term client relationships and deliver innovative financial solutions in a fast-paced, global banking environment.

You will lead cross-functional teams, perform valuation and due diligence, and mentor junior colleagues while contributing to UBS's regional growth in Brazil.

Formación

• 8+ years experience in Investment Banking or Corporate Finance.
• Proven experience originating and executing M&A, ECM and/or DCM.
• Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
• Familiarity with financial modelling, valuation, due diligence and transaction execution.

Responsabilidades

• Originate and execute M&A, ECM and DCM transactions across the Energy, Utilities and Industrials sectors.
• Develop partnerships by expanding existing client relationships.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive client coverage and sector expertise.
• Provide strategic advice and financing solutions to corporate clients and financial sponsors.
• Lead transaction execution, including valuation, due diligence and structuring activities.
• Collaborate with industry, product and regional teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Prepare and present strategic recommendations and transaction materials to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the Global Banking franchise.

Key Responsibilities

We're looking for an investment banker to:

• originate and execute Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) transactions across the Energy, Utilities and Industrials sectors
• create partnerships by increasing the depth and breadth of existing client relationships
• identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive client coverage and sector expertise
• provide strategic advice and financing solutions to corporate clients and financial sponsors
• lead transaction execution, including valuation, financial analysis, due diligence and structuring activities
• collaborate across industry, product and regional teams to deliver integrated client solutions
• prepare and present strategic recommendations and transaction materials to clients and senior stakeholders
• mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the Global Banking franchise

Your Skills And Experience

• ideally 8+ years of experience within Investment Banking, Corporate Finance or related advisory functions
• proven experience originating and executing M&A, ECM and/or DCM transactions
• familiarity with financial modelling, valuation methodologies, due diligence processes and transaction execution
• strong understanding of the Energy, Utilities and/or Industrials sectors
• strong client relationship management and business development skills
• great communicator, whether presenting to clients or senior executives
• able to develop creative solutions to meet client needs and identify cross-product opportunities
• you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use

You’ll be working in the Global Banking Energy, Utilities & Industrials team in São Paulo.

Our team provides strategic advisory and capital markets solutions to corporate clients across the sector. We work closely with industry, product and regional partners to deliver solutions across M&A, equity and debt financing. As part of a global platform, we support clients on some of their most important strategic and capital allocation decisions.
