Job Purpose

Main Responsibilities

• Manage Indirect Tax areas (ICMS, IPI, PIS/Cofins, ISS).
• Identify local tax rules and changes relevant to Unilever.
• Advise the Business and Third-Party Tax Service Providers to ensure consistent application of tax regulations.
• Support business decisions related to tax, including modeling and impact analysis.
• Monitor contingent tax risks.
• Identify, implement, or advise on tax planning opportunities to optimize tax efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Manage Tax Incentives and Special Tax Regimes.
• Evaluate and implement initiatives to monetize tax credits.
• Develop internal tax training as needed to ensure compliance with tax rules.
• Provide strategic support during tax audits.
• Lead team management and people development efforts.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
• Experience in multinational companies preferred; Big Four experience is also considered.
• Specific experience in indirect taxes.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Experience with ICMS, IPI, PIS/Cofins, and ISS.
