Main Responsibilities

1. Responsible for Indirect Tax (ICMS, IPI, PIS/Cofins, ISS).
2. Identify all local tax rules or changes that should be followed by Unilever.
3. Advise the business or third-party tax service providers to ensure alignment and consistent application of tax rules.
4. Support business decisions related to tax matters, including tax modeling and P&L and cash impact calculations.
5. Monitor contingent tax risks.
6. Identify, implement, or advise on tax planning opportunities to achieve tax-efficient structures and mitigate risks.
7. Manage tax incentives and special regimes.
8. Evaluate and implement initiatives to monetize tax credits.
9. Develop internal tax training when necessary to ensure understanding of applicable tax rules.
10. Provide strategic support during tax audits.
11. Manage and develop the tax team.

Experiences & Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
2. Experience in multinational companies preferred; Big Four experience is also considered.
3. Specific experience in indirect taxes.
4. Advanced English proficiency.
5. Experience with ICMS, IPI, PIS/Cofins, and ISS.
