MecRoc Engenharia, in partnership with Caroni Geospatial, seeks a mid-level Geotechnical Engineer to be the dedicated local technical contact for its Brazil portfolio, starting with VoidMapper. You will manage Brazilian accounts, support demonstrations and trials, and serve as the first line of technical support for customers.

You will join meetings with the Australian team, coordinate data collection, and identify new opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering (Geotechnical, Mining, Civil or related field).
• Underground mining geotechnical experience at mid/pleno level.
• Advanced technical English is a core requirement, not a preference.
• Commercial/relationship aptitude: interest and ability in account management and business development.
• Strong communication skills, able to bridge technical and commercial talks.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day communication with Brazilian accounts, maintaining an active list of next actions.
• Support PoC projects, demonstrations, data coordination and customer onboarding.
• Serve as the first local technical contact, escalating to Australia when required.
• Participate in English-language meetings and training with the Australian team.
• Develop new opportunities within MecRoc's customer base and maintain continuity with existing accounts.
• Provide regular pipeline and account updates with priorities, blockers and next steps.

MecRoc, in partnership with Caroni Geospatial, is expanding into digital solutions for underground mining, starting with VoidMapper, a cloud-native SaaS platform for LiDAR-based deformation monitoring and automated scanning workflows, with further solutions planned in the coming years.

We're looking for a mid-level (pleno) Geotechnical Engineer to become the dedicated local technical contact for this portfolio of digital solutions in Brazil, with an initial focus on VoidMapper.

This person will be the direct link between Brazilian customers, MecRoc and the technical team in Australia — managing accounts, supporting demonstrations and trials, and acting as the first line of technical support for customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day communication with existing Brazilian accounts, keeping an active list of next actions
• Support proof-of-concept projects, demonstrations, data collection coordination and customer onboarding
• Act as the first local technical contact for routine customer questions, escalating product or technical issues to Australia when required
• Participate directly in English-language meetings and training with the Australian team
• Develop new opportunities within MecRoc's customer base, while maintaining continuity with existing accounts
• Provide regular pipeline and account updates, keeping MecRoc and the Australian team aligned on priorities, blockers and next steps

What we're looking for

• Degree in Engineering (Geotechnical, Mining, Civil or related field)
• Solid underground mining geotechnical experience (mid/pleno level) — enough to speak credibly with site teams about real operational problems
• Advanced technical English is a core requirement, not a preference — this person will join meetings, training and technical discussions directly with the Australian team, without translation support
• Commercial/relationship aptitude: genuine interest and ability in account management and business development, beyond the purely technical side
• Strong communication skills, able to move comfortably between technical field conversations and commercial conversations with customers
