• Boa comunicação em Português.
• Leitura básica de inglês técnico.

Responsabilidades

• Converter conjuntos de dados sísmicos de SEG-Y para VDS usando o software Bluware.
• Validar dados sísmicos antes da conversão, verificando geometria, headers, metadata e CRS.
• Verificar a qualidade e conclusão dos datasets convertidos.
• Fornecer suporte de nível 1 para questões relacionadas à conversão de dados sísmicos.
• Auxiliar usuários com perguntas básicas sobre OSDU relacionadas à disponibilidade de dados para InteractivAI.
• Escalar defeitos de software ou questões técnicas à equipe de suporte.
• Seguir procedimentos estabelecidos e melhores práticas de conversão de dados.
• Colaborar com Petrobras e equipes da Bluware para garantir a entrega oportuna dos datasets convertidos.

Position Summary

Bluware, a wholly owned subsidiary of CMG (Computer Modelling Group) in Brazil is seeking a Geoscience Data Manager Specialist to support Petrobras by preparing seismic datasets for use with InteractivAI. The primary responsibility of this role is converting seismic data from SEG-Y to VDS using Bluware software, ensuring that datasets are correctly configured and available for interpretation workflows.

The specialist will also provide first-level assistance related to data preparation and basic OSDU interactions, working closely with Petrobras and Bluware’s technical teams when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert seismic datasets from SEG-Y to VDS using Bluware software.
• Validate seismic datasets prior to conversion, including verification of geometry, headers, metadata, and coordinate reference information.
• Verify the quality and completeness of converted VDS datasets.
• Provide first-level support for issues related to seismic data conversion.
• Support users with basic OSDU data access and dataset availability questions as they relate to InteractivAI workflows.
• Escalate software defects or complex technical issues to Bluware’s technical support and engineering teams.
• Follow established procedures and best practices for data conversion.
• Collaborate with Petrobras and Bluware personnel to ensure timely delivery of converted datasets.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Geology, or related Geoscience discipline.
• Basic understanding of seismic data and SEG-Y format.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow standardized operational procedures.
• Basic computer skills in Windows.
• Good communication skills in Portuguese.
• Basic English reading skills for technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with seismic data loading or management.
• Familiarity with VDS or other seismic data formats.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data environments.
• Basic Python knowledge is a plus.
