Job summary

Etho IT Solutions is seeking a Senior Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Asset Management (EAM) to join an international remote project in Brazil. You will design and configure the Asset Management module within Dynamics 365 SCM, collaborating with maintenance, engineering, operations, and IT teams.

The role requires leading workshops, performing Fit-Gap analyses, and designing AS-IS/TO-BE processes, plus writing functional specs for integrations and supporting go-live, hypercare,

Responsibilities

Etho is looking for a Senior Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Asset Management (EAM) to join an international project, 100% remote.

You will work closely with maintenance, engineering, operations, and IT teams to design and configure the Asset Management module in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.

What you will do

• Lead requirements workshops with maintenance, engineering, operations, and IT, map AS-IS processes, and design TO-BE processes.
• Perform Fit-Gap analyses and recommend solutions using standard Dynamics 365 Asset Management capabilities.
• Configure Dynamics 365 Asset Management:
• assets and asset lifecycle, hierarchies, and functional locations
• asset types and classifications
• preventive and corrective maintenance, maintenance plans, rounds, and scheduling
• maintenance requests and work orders
• counters and condition assessments
• maintenance resources and workers
• spare parts and inventory integration
• maintenance costs and reporting
• Support time-, usage-, and condition-based preventive maintenance strategies.
• Ensure functional integration with Inventory Management, Procurement, Production, and Finance.
• Write functional specifications for integrations, extensions, and customizations.
• Support migration of asset master data and maintenance history.
• Run functional, integration, and UAT testing.
• Deliver documentation and end-user training, and support go-live, hypercare, and stabilization.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience implementing or enhancing the Asset Management module in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, with strong hands-on configuration. General Dynamics 365 SCM experience alone is not sufficient for this role.
• Solid knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management and industrial maintenance processes.
• Understanding of the integration between Asset Management, Inventory Management, and Procurement in Dynamics 365.
• Experience leading workshops, Fit-Gap analyses, and AS-IS / TO-BE process design.
• Experience with functional testing, SIT, and UAT.
• Ability to communicate effectively with maintenance, engineering, operations, and IT teams, and to own functional deliverables independently.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

• End-to-end Dynamics 365 Asset Management implementations.
• Manufacturing, energy, mining, utilities, or other industrial operations.
• Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including Inventory, Procurement, and Production Control.
• EAM integration with shop-floor systems, IoT, sensors, or predictive maintenance.
• Maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, asset availability, and reliability.
• SAP PM/EAM, IBM Maximo, or similar platforms.
• ISO 55000 and asset management best practices.
• Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management certifications.
