Azumo is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in React, Node, and GraphQL. This remote position is based in Latin America and operates within the EST/PST time zones.

The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with talented engineers in SaaS and big data computing, focusing on delivering high-quality, well-tested JavaScript applications with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance existing TypeScript and JavaScript codebases
• Architect applications and integrate with third-party APIs and services
• Design overall application frameworks, including component hierarchy, authentication, and error handling
• Implement front-end build, deployment, and CI pipelines

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js)
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end development
• 3+ years of experience with React and GraphQL
• Self-driven, motivated, with a strong work ethic and problem-solving passion

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python)
• Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Some backend development experience (Java or Node.js)
• Experience building RESTful web services
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with automated testing (TDD, mocking, unit/functional/integration)
• Familiarity with databases like MySQL, MongoDB, web servers like Apache, and UI/UX design
• Analytical mindset
