Bluelight is seeking an experienced backend-focused software developer to join its rapidly growing team. You will design and implement high-quality, low-latency API services, work with AWS, and contribute to secure, multi-tenant architectures while collaborating with frontend and other teams.

You will participate in challenging projects, write tests against real databases, and help shape scalable systems across the full stack when needed.

Qualificações

• 5+ years professional software development experience, backend-focused.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused)
• Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate)
• Professional experience with React
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode/fault-injection testing
• Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems
• Ability to overlap US business hours
