Bluelight Consulting is seeking an experienced backend-focused software engineer to join our rapidly growing team. You will develop high-quality applications, contribute to scalable API services on AWS, and work across full-stack tasks as needed.

Strong emphasis on ownership, testing, and secure multi-tenant design will be essential. You will collaborate with US and LATAM teams, participate in challenging projects, and have access to ongoing learning opportunities and a flexible, remote-friendly

Qualificações

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Proficient with React.
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and fault-injection testing.
• Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed.
• Background with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused)
• Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs
