Nubank is seeking an FP&A professional in Sao Paulo to help translate business results into strategic decisions. You will analyze, forecast, and model financials for the Lending Business Unit, improving processes with scalable, data-driven insights.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Finance and Markets, building dashboards, automating reports, and presenting results to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience forecasting and analyzing P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Solid financial modeling knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills to handle complex datasets.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to change.
• Excellent communication with product, finance and markets stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Programming knowledge in Scala, SQL and Python is a plus.
• Credit experience in banks or fintechs is preferred.

About the Role

Our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team's challenge is to help Nubank make better financial decisions. Our mission is to understand the company's performance from a financial perspective by analyzing past results and creating future projections. Broadly, our team is subdivided into FP&A Horizontals, FP&A Markets, FP&A Global Products, FP&A Efficiency, and Procurement.

You’ll be Responsible for

• Analyzing, explaining, and projecting the financial aspects of products related to the Lending Business Unit.

• Improving FP&A processes to generate insights and provide clarity in financial statements, always thinking in a scalable way and using reliable data.

• Understanding and analyzing the impact of product-related decisions on a Business Unit's (BU) financial results.

• Automating reports by connecting them to databases from different sources.

• Building, updating, and reviewing financial models and simulators.

• Preparing and presenting executive materials with financial results to the Business Unit and the Board of Directors.

What We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

• Bachelor's degree

• Experience in financial forecasting and analysis (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).

• Solid knowledge of financial modeling.

• a strong analytical ability to manage and evaluate complex data.

• Eager to learn and adapts easily to change.

• Strong communication skills to proactively interact with various business partners and stakeholders (Product, Finance, Markets).

• Advanced knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.

• Proficient in English.

• Knowledge of programming languages (Scala, SQL, and Python) as a plus.

• Preference for candidates with previous experience in Credit (other Banks or Fintechs.)
