Nubank in São Paulo, Brazil is seeking an FP&A Senior Specialist for the Digital Assets group. You will own the finance view across Brazil and Nu Global, building P&L for crypto products, forecasting volumes, pricing, and partner costs, and partnering across controllership, treasury, legal, and risk to scale assets under custody.

You will work with product and leadership to shape pricing, unit economics, and investment decisions, delivering clear executive materials on a tight timeline.

About the Role

We are seeking an FP&A Senior Specialist to be the finance partner for our Digital Assets organization. Today that means our crypto trading and custody business in Brazil and the digital asset products inside Nu Global, including stablecoin balances, cross-border money movement, and crypto trading. As Nubank and the Digital Assets business expands to additional geographies, you will own the finance view of this business in each market it enters.

Digital Assets is both a customer product and a set of rails. Stablecoins, FX, on and off ramps, and card spending can be a source of revenue, a cost to manage, or the reason a customer chooses us in the first place. This role is about building as the business grows, including how we model and forecast it, starting with the economics of a single customer, trade, or balance and building up to the business P&L. You will also own the position Finance takes on those numbers with Digital Assets leadership.

The scope covers every digital asset product we offer, in every market where we offer it. Economics and accounting differ by product, entity, and country, and many of the answers are still being worked out. You will decide which assumptions matter most, make them explicit, and revise them as the business learns.

You will operate with a high degree of autonomy and regular exposure to the leaders who run these businesses. You will be expected to hold a position when the analysis supports it, push back with evidence, and take direct feedback. This is a senior individual contributor role. You will stay hands-on in the models and analysis, and you will help raise the standard of work across the FP&A team around you.

You’ll be Responsible for

• Own the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles for Digital Assets across Brazil and Nu Global, with accountability for the integrity of the numbers and for the position Finance takes on them with leadership.

• Build the P&L for each digital asset product, from trading and swaps to custody and stablecoin yield, and model how volume, take rate, balances, pricing, and partner costs flow through to Nubank's consolidated results.

• Track gross profit and cost-to-serve, including execution and liquidity costs, custody and platform provider fees, payment network and funding costs, and regulatory and audit requirements, and bring a point of view on what should change when results move.

• Support expansion into new geographies with the financial analysis behind each launch, including unit economics, local rails and funding methods, and the effect of licensing and legal entity structures.

• Partner with Controllership, Treasury, Legal, and Risk on custody accounting, reconciliation, yield accrual, and liquidity planning as assets under custody and stablecoin balances scale.

• Work with Digital Assets product and business leaders early enough to shape pricing, product, and investment decisions.

• Prepare clear, concise executive materials that simplify complex topics, often on short timelines.

• Use AI, advanced analytics, and automation to speed up planning and analysis, while keeping the judgment to review and challenge AI-generated output.

What We're Looking For Someone Who Has

Required

• You can build the P&L for a trading, custody, payments, or banking product from a blank page, understand how the lines interact, and find what is wrong in a model built by someone else or by an AI tool.

• You understand how money movement and digital assets make and cost money, including trading and liquidity, custody, stablecoins and yield, FX, and card and payment networks, or you have the curiosity and rigor to get there quickly.

• You are comfortable starting from incomplete information, making assumptions explicit, and building planning processes where none exist yet.

• You present with clarity to senior stakeholders, hold your ground on substance, and adapt when new information changes the answer.

• You build trust with product, controllership, treasury, legal, and risk partners, and you influence decisions without formal authority.

• You use modern analytics and AI tools to raise the speed and quality of your work, and you know where their output needs a human check. SQL and data skills are a plus.

• You share what you know, give and take direct feedback, and help raise the bar for the analysts around you.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.

• Experience with crypto, stablecoins, FX, or cross-border payments.

• Experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate development, or business analysis, ideally in financial services, such as a bank, brokerage, exchange, card issuer, payments or remittance company, or fintech.

• Track record of building P&Ls and forecasting models for financial products, not only maintaining them.

• Experience supporting the launch or scaling of a new product or market within a larger financial institution is a plus.

• Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership.

• Fluency in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.
