Cadence Design Systems in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, seeks a firmware engineer to develop, validate, and support firmware and diagnostic software for complex hardware systems. You will contribute to hardware bring-up, system validation, and field diagnostics while triaging issues across firmware, hardware, product engineering, and validation teams.
Role requires 1–3 years of embedded firmware experience, proficiency in C/C++, and scripting languages, with strong English and Portuguese communication
Develop, validate, and support firmware and diagnostic software for complex hardware systems. Contribute to hardware bring-up, system validation, manufacturing and field diagnostics, and issue triage. Deliver well-defined technical tasks, debug issues using structured evidence, and collaborate effectively with firmware, hardware, product engineering, validation, and field support teams.
