Qualificações

• Fluente em português; conhecimentos básicos de inglês ou espanhol são preferidos.

Responsabilidades

• Executar serviços de manutenção, incluindo checagens, substituições e reparos menores.
• Diagnosticar falhas mecânicas e eletrônicas, analisar dados do motor.
• Gerenciar expectativas dos clientes e relatar progresso.

We are seeking a Mechanical Field Service Technician for our Jenbacher team in Brazil. This role involves hands-on field service work on Jenbacher Gas Engines, including commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and minor overhauls. These engines operate on natural gas and other gases such as biogas, landfill gas, and industrial waste gases.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform service according to maintenance protocols, including checks, replacements, and minor repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic failures, analyze engine data.
• Manage customer expectations and report progress.
• Provide detailed service reports post-maintenance.
• Assist in major engine services, ensuring adherence to manuals and procedures.
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers.
• Complete administrative tasks like timesheets and safety reports.
• Follow all safety policies, maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a mechanic or electrician, preferably with gas engines.
• Technical qualification as per MEC standards (Brazilian Ministry of Education).
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%).
• Ability to follow technical procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Effective team player and independent worker.
• Basic computer skills for report creation.
• Fluent in Portuguese; basic English or Spanish skills preferred.
