Responsabilidades

• Provide desk‑side IT support to end users and operate IT equipment in meeting rooms and common areas.
• On‑site support for factory or site‑owned assets, including shop floor IT/OT assets.
• Act as IT/OT cybersecurity first responder by investigating incidents and containing remediation with guidance.
• Maintain OT asset monitoring and implement remediation measures, including security patches.
• Raise alerts to incident response teams for abnormal OT system behavior and coordinate with cybersecurity teams.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure proper configuration and maintenance of security patches and OT systems.

Hitachi Energy Transformers-Business Solutions IT Organization is seeking a Factory IT/OT Specialist for our Guarulhos location. As IT/OT Specialist you provide on‑site support for factory or Hitachi energy site‑owned assets and operational support of both office IT and shop floor IT/OT assets not supported by the OSS techs. You carry out IT/OT Cybersecurity first‑responder tasks and operational cybersecurity tasks for IT/OT assets.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Provide support to end users, IT equipment, software in meeting rooms and similar user collaboration/common areas as part of desk‑side support
• Provide computer on‑site support for factory or Hitachi energy site‑owned assets
• Carry out OT asset IT/OT Cybersecurity operational tasks
• Carry out operational support for Office IT and Shop Floor IT/OT assets—kiosks, printers, conference rooms/Team rooms, vendor machines, CCTV/security system, badging, scanners for MES hardware support, etc.
• Act as IT/OT cybersecurity first responder by investigating incidents, determining scope, and working with cybersecurity team to contain and remediate the incident, under guidance from the factory incident responder
• Identify critical assets within the factory that require monitoring and protection
• Install and configure remediation measures—install and configure security patches on critical assets to protect the environment from security incidents, with additional assistance when required
• Raise alerts to incident response teams for abnormal OT system behavior (unauthorized access attempts or changes to control systems)
• Work with vendors to ensure security patches and OT systems are properly configured and maintained
• Implement security measures for business‑managed assets to ensure the factory’s IT/OT systems are secure and protected from potential threats, under guidance of global cybersecurity teams and the factory process engineer
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your Background

• Completed a formal qualification or apprenticeship in information technology
• Professional experience in IT support
• Fluency in local language and English
• Proactive and solution‑oriented mindset, ability to work independently and be self‑driven
