Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of logistics experience in a manufacturing or global supply chain environment.
• Experience with export order processing and export documentation/compliance.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and international trade requirements.
• Proven ability to coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Generate and send Electronic Data Interchange to Freight Forwarders to reserve vessel space.
• Conduct transportation planning incl. capacity, routing, carrier selection, and load building.
• Receive and audit booking confirmations from Freight Forwarders.
• Track shipments from PGI to delivery and manage exceptions.
• Escalate issues to Logistics Supervisor when unresolved.
• Prepare, review and distribute export documentation to Freight Forwarders, ocean carriers, Customs and importers.
• Provide updates to Export Customer Service on delivery impacting issues.
• Record delays affecting ocean shipments and delivery performance.
• Update carrier reference numbers and container details as needed.
• Serve as contact point for Lubrizol global colleagues to streamline communication.
• Set up collect ocean and air export shipments in Transportation Module with supporting documentation.
• Participate in carrier service and issue resolution.
• Participate in carrier reviews; provide back-up coverage for other Logistics Associates.

What You'll Do

As an Export Logistics Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, managing export orders from booking creation to final delivery at the port of destination. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. This role is crucial to the success of the Global Logistics group, focusing on efficient container utilization and meeting both internal and external goals and metrics. You’ll collaborate with Export Customer Service, Freight Forwarders, Carriers, and Supply Chain Representatives to ensure timely shipment and customer satisfaction. You’ll serve as the primary contact for transportation-related tasks.

Essential Job Functions

• Generateandsend Electronic DataInterchangetoour Freight Forwarders to reserve vessel space.


• Conduct transportation planning activities including capacity planning, shipment and fleet planning, carrierselection, routing, scheduling,and load building.


• Receive and audit booking confirmations from Freight Forwarders.


• Track the movement of shipments from PGI to final delivery and manage exceptions as they arise.


• Escalate unresolved issues to Logistics Supervisor when unable to immediatelyresolve.


• Support the preparation, review, anddistributionofexportdocumentationtoFreight Forwarders,ocean carriers,Customs, and importers.


• Provide updatesto Export Customer Service on any issues thatimpactdelivery to our customers.


• Recorddelays affectingocean shipments and delivery performance.


• Update carrier reference numbers, master vessel carrier, and/or container numbers as needed.


• Provide points of contact for Lubrizol global colleagues to streamline communication.


• Setupcollectoceanandairexport shipmentsinTransportationModule and provide supporting documentationto Export Customer Service.


• Participate in carrier service and issue resolution.


• Participate in carrier monthly/quarterly reviews as needed.


• Provide back-up coverage for other Logistic Associates.

Experience and Skills

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent


• 3+years oflogisticsexperience, preferablyin a manufacturing environment


• Knowledge of export order processing, including export documentation and compliance requirements


• Strongcommunicationand relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners


• Acollaborative mindset and a willingness to support team goals


• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with theinitiativetoidentifyissues,recommendsolutions, and work independently whenneeded
