Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support all finance areas such as treasury, tax, reporting and accounting practices to stay compliant with local laws and policies in Brazil and Mexico.
• Analyze financial results and prepare financial statements and journal entries.
• Review revenue and costs, financial planning and cash flow generation; manage fixed assets.
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze variances; provide explanations.
• Provide tax support on Transaction Tax and Corporate Income Tax in Brazil and Mexico; handle journal entries.
• Coordinate with local tax providers; review tax calculations, returns and reconciliations.
• Monitor tax legislation and assist audits and information requests from tax authorities.

This individual demonstrates a mastery of performing a broad range of diversified finance deliverables/results.

Provides financial services, analysis, reporting and business support to company management and/or government regulatory authorities. Ensures that Keysight operations are conducted in line with financial policies and controls. Responsible for the collection, recording, consolidation, reconciliation, analysis, reporting and presentation of accounting and financial information used by management for planning and control. Ensures local financial and statutory compliance that may include internal financial controls, external audits, regulatory filings and reporting, tax filings and audit representation.

Responsibilities

• Support all finance areas like, treasury, tax, reporting and accounting practices, to keep business compliant with local laws and policies in Brazil and Mexico.
• Analyze financial results, prepare financial statements and journal entries.
• Review revenue and costs, financial planning, cash flow generation, control of fixed assets.
• Perform account reconciliations, analyze variances, prepare explanations.
• Provide technical support on Transaction Tax and Corporate Income Tax matters in Brazil and Mexico, including tax accounting, provisions, reconciliations, business transactions, withholding taxes, and related journal entries.
• Coordinate with local tax service providers and review the tax calculations, statutory returns, reconciliations, and supporting documentation prepared externally, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Monitor tax legislation, assess potential impacts on the business, and support internal and external audits, tax audits, and information requests from tax authorities.

The candidate must live in São Paulo or nearby, and will need to be in our office in Barueri at least once a week.

Education, Experience

• Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in job and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements, background in USGAAP reporting is a plus
• Experience in ERP applications (e.g. Oracle, SAP)
• Advanced English language skills
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
