A leading manufacturing company in Manaus is seeking a Technical Sourcing Manager to oversee supplier selection and part validation processes. The successful candidate should have at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in Supply Chain or Engineering. You'll be expected to manage multiple projects, drive cost optimization, and work closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with design and production requirements. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills are essential for this role.

The Technical Sourcing Manager will manage supplier selection process and part validation process for three major facets of Jabil's needs : (1) Design, (2) NPI, (3) Risk / Cost Reduction.
This position requires situational analysis to leverage Jabil's Supply Chain and Sourcing organizations as well as Jabil's tools, templates, and processes to ensure we are identifying, validating, and deploying components into Jabil's supply base correctly.
This role must shift and adapt quickly to changing project requirements and act with a sense of urgency.
Support of multiple projects / customers and have indirect reports is possible.
A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering or Supply Chain) with eight years or more of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Masters degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
Advanced PC skills, with emphasis on Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to effectively present information to Upper Management and external stakeholders; Ability to read and speak English.
Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings and identify key information to manufacture a component such as following GD&T guidelines.
Strong problem solving, analytic, negotiation, project management and people skills are a must.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, summarize information and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
