ENGIE Brasil Energia in Parauapebas seeks an Environmental and Land Affairs Transmission Analyst I to ensure licensing compliance, protect the environment, and engage with local communities. You will oversee environmental programs and coordinate with cross-functional teams across land affairs and regulatory work.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a related field, knowledge of ISO 14001, and readiness for field duties.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Biology, or Law.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and basic project management.
  • Familiarity with environmental legislation and transmission regulations.
  • Valid Category B driver’s license and willingness for field activities.
  • Intermediate English reading/listening; verbal communication can be developed.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage compliance with environmental licensing requirements and ENGIE environmental policies.
  • Monitor environmental program schedules and propose corrective actions to maintain the Operation License.
  • Supervise environmental and socio-property inspections and validate technical reports.
  • Liaise with landowners, municipalities, environmental agencies, notary offices, and community associations.
  • Support compensation negotiations and right-of-way corridor assessments with Legal and Land Affairs teams.
  • Prepare technical specifications for environmental services and monitor related procurement processes.
  • Identify environmental risks and promote best practices among teams, contractors, and consultants.

Environmental and Land Affairs Transmission Analyst I

In this role, you will be at the forefront of operational sustainability. You will ensure that our transmission assets comply with legal requirements, respect the environment, and maintain constructive engagement with the communities where we operate.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage compliance with environmental licensing requirements, using management software and ensuring adherence to ENGIE Group environmental policies.
  • Monitor environmental program implementation schedules, assess deviations, and propose corrective actions to maintain the Operation License.
  • Supervise environmental and socio-property inspections, validate technical reports, and activate management systems when required.
  • Liaise with local stakeholders, including landowners, municipalities, environmental agencies, notary offices, and community associations.
  • Support compensation negotiations and right-of-way corridor assessments, in coordination with the corporate Legal and Land Affairs teams.
  • Prepare technical specifications for environmental services and monitor procurement processes related to environmental and land affairs activities.
  • Identify environmental risks, document lessons learned, and promote best practices among teams, contractors, and consultants.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Biology, or Law.
  • Basic knowledge of project management and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Familiarity with state and federal environmental legislation, transmission regulations, and legal requirements related to water resources.
  • Valid Category B driver’s license and availability for field activities.
  • Intermediate English reading and listening skills; verbal communication skills can be further developed.
  • Collaborative, resilient profile with strong emotional stability to handle high-pressure and conflict situations.
  • A postgraduate degree in Project Management, Environmental Licensing, or related fields is considered a valuable asset.
