Job summary

SBM Offshore is seeking an Engineering Project Engineer to support the Engineering Project Manager in delivering projects that improve efficiency, safety and sustainability. You will coordinate multiple disciplines to ensure deliverables are on time, on budget and compliant with safety standards, while capturing lessons learned and monitoring interfaces with clients and subcontractors.

Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering Project Manager in managing engineering work, including deliverables, hours and schedule control.
• Coordinate across engineering disciplines to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality deliverables compliant with safety standards.

• Coordinate interfaces with clients, subcontractors, vendors and regulatory bodies.

Purpose

• The Engineering Project Engineer's purpose is to support the Engineering Project Manager in delivering projects that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability, contributing to the organization's strategic objectives and long-term success.

Responsibilities

• You provide support to the Engineering Project Manager in managing engineering work including engineering deliverables, work-hour and schedule control.
• You work across all engineering disciplines to ensure the engineering deliverables are completed on time, on budget, on quality and in accordance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
• You ensure lessons learnt are captured, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
• You support actively discipline interfaces, including third parties where applicable (clients, subcontractors, vendors, classification societies and regulatory bodies).
