Job summary

SBM Offshore is seeking a Sustainability professional to drive environmental performance and regulatory compliance across operations in Brazil. You will implement programs, monitor metrics, and report progress to leadership, ensuring alignment with the company’s blue economy goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multiple departments, training initiatives, and external stakeholder engagement to advance sustainable practices within our oil and gas activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in sustainability or environmental roles, ideally within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong analytical, regulatory, and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• You implement and manage sustainability programs, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
• You conduct regular assessments of environmental performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending practical solutions.
• You monitor compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards, preparing reports and documentation as needed.
• You support development and execution of sustainability training programs for employees.
• You collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainability into operations and project planning.
• You track and analyze sustainability metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimize performance.
• You manage relationships with regulatory agencies, community stakeholders, and external partners.
• You stay informed about industry trends and emerging regulations to keep practices current.
• You assist in the preparation of sustainability reports and communications to stakeholders.
