Orion S.A. in São Paulo is seeking a production engineer to monitor and control complex production and wastewater treatment processes using the DCS, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

You will optimize process parameters to boost safety, quality, productivity, and reliability, lead Process Safety Management initiatives, provide guidance to operations staff, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering to improve equipment performance.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and control production, utilities, and wastewater treatment processes using the DCS.
• Optimize process parameters to improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Lead Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives, including risk assessments and Management of Change (MOC) reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and training to operations personnel.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Partner with Maintenance and Engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
• Conduct field inspections, analyze process data, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate operational performance and process deviations.
• Support process and product modifications to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in emergency response activities and plant emergency drills.
