Job Purpose
Responsible for supporting and adding value to the tendering process from a technical and commercial perspective of the completions Product Lines within the MBP (Malaysia, Brunei & Philippines) Area. Prepare technical and commercial proposals. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure all tenders and proposals comply with Weatherford and Customer requirements. Add value by identifying, controlling, and mitigating risks, maximizing opportunities, and ensuring process compliance. Collect tender information (win/loss analysis, market prices, competition positioning, etc).

- Operations

- Adhere to Quality procedures per ISO 9002 where applicable: comply with work instructions, raise corrective actions for non‑conformances, and identify improvement or audit areas.
- Assist the Technical Sales Representative in preparing technical proposals and solutions, including layout drawings, tubing movement analysis, equipment data research, and technical data sheet creation.
- Assist in raising traveler/cost price requests from Manufacturing quotation team and third‑party vendors for tender costing.
- Assist in preparing draft BSA (commercial proposal) with the commercial/pricing strategy driven by the Technical Sales person.
- Support the Technical Sales person during BSA presentation.
- Coordinate with the SME on equipment/technology selections and competitive cost pricing with Manufacturing and third‑party vendors for major tenders.
- Coordinate with each country Operation Team to ensure final tender documents are consolidated properly and timely.
- Post‑tender responsibilities: collect tender information (win/loss analysis, market prices, competition positioning, etc).
- Other duties: demonstrate commitment to core values (Communication, Collaboration, Competency), cultural values, QHSE Gems and Tenants, complete training and development assignments, embrace the "One Weatherford" philosophy, and support other Geozones.
- Communication
- Maintain effective communication with all key internal stakeholders and appropriate external parties.
- Supervisors & Managers must clearly communicate expectations, roles, and responsibilities to reports.

- Accountability for financial responsibility in charge of budgets or personal expenses.
- Ensure costs are within approved budgets, processed timely, and comply with financial policy and procedure.

Experience & Education
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant oilfield experience in Open and Cased Hole Completions.
- Technical background in Open and Cased Hole Completions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Good knowledge of relevant computer software.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and procedures.
- General understanding of tendering processes in the oil and gas industry.
- Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment.
Preferred
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word for Windows, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with Salesforce and Xait Porter.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
Travel Requirement
This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to 10%.
