Wärtsilä is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Manaus, Brazil. The role focuses on preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance of plant machinery, including compressors and generators, with responsibilities to prepare technical reports and maintain electrical systems.

The candidate will perform building maintenance tasks, manage tools and ensure safety and quality standards are followed. Basic English and electrical training are required.

Qualificações

• Complete Technical Training in Electrical or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PLC, electrical circuits, instrumentation and sensors.
• Basic English.
• Familiar with Quality, Environment and Safety at Work procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
• Repair compressors and emergency generator components as needed.
• Prepare technical reports describing services performed and faults found.
• Perform office building maintenance tasks such as cable laying and lighting.
• Maintain tools, equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Manaus, Brazil.

Main responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on the plant's machinery and equipment, identifying the needs for repair or replacement of parts, in order to guarantee the reliability and functionality of the equipment.
• Carry out repairs to the compressors and emergency generator, identifying the need to change parts and their control systems, in order to guarantee their functionality.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, describing the scope of services performed and informing about possible faults identified.
• Perform services related to office building maintenance such as cable laying, lighting, minor repairs to electrical distribution boards.
• Watch over the tools and equipment under your responsibility, as well as cleaning, organizing and hygiene the areas involved in the process.

Requirements

• Complete Technical Training - Electrical and others authorized by current legislation.
• Knowledge in:Programmable logic control (PLC), Electrical circuits, Instrumentation,Pressure transmitters, PT100, Thermocouples, Speed Sensors, Transducers, etc.Communication networks,Frequency inverters and supervisors,Maintenance of electrical components,Small and medium sized electric motors.
• Basic English
• Knowledge of procedures and guidelines on Quality, Environment and Safety at Work
