WindWorkX is seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Technician based in Brazil to lead lift inspection, maintenance and service across Latin America. The role requires extensive travel to projects in Brazil, Chile, Peru and Argentina.

You will perform inspections, maintenance, diagnose faults, and produce reports while adhering to HSE procedures. Fluent Portuguese, Spanish and English are required, with at least three years in wind turbine work and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years' wind turbine experience.
• Willing to travel extensively across LATAM.
• Based in Brazil with ability to travel internationally.
• Fluent or strong proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance skills.
• Valid passport for international travel.

Responsabilidades

Wind Turbine Technician – Lift Inspection & Maintenance

The Opportunity

WindWorkX is recruiting an experienced Wind Turbine Technician for a long-term role supporting wind turbine lift inspection, maintenance and service activities across Latin America.

This is a travelling position suited to an experienced wind technician, who is comfortable working internationally and wants a flexible rotation with the opportunity to earn additional overtime.

The successful candidate will be based in Brazil and will travel regularly to projects across Brazil, Chile, Peru and Argentina.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of wind turbine lift and access systems
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance
• Diagnose faults and carry out basic repairs
• Complete routine safety and operational checks
• Produce accurate inspection and maintenance reports
• Support installation, servicing and commissioning activities where required
• Work safely within wind turbine environments and follow site HSE procedures
• Travel between wind farms and project locations throughout LATAM
• Work closely with local and international technical teams
• Minimum 3 years' solid experience working on wind turbines
• Previous experience in wind turbine maintenance, servicing or inspection
• Experience working within the Latin American wind industry
• Fluent or strong working proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish and English
• Based in Brazil and able to travel extensively throughout Latin America
• Comfortable working at height and within wind turbine towers
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance skills
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• Professional, reliable and able to work independently while travelling
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally

Experience with wind turbine lifts, tower access systems, climb systems or similar equipment would be highly advantageous.

Relevant wind industry safety training and technical certifications would also be beneficial.

Working Pattern

The position offers a flexible working arrangement.

Technicians will normally receive 8 rest days per month.

Where operationally required and agreed, technicians may have the opportunity to work additional days and receive paid overtime.

The role involves regular travel throughout:

Candidates should therefore be comfortable spending significant periods travelling between wind farm locations.

Salary & Package

R$13,500 – R$18,900 per month, depending on experience and technical background.

Additional paid overtime may be available.
