**Your Role and Responsibilities**
This position is an internal Application Developer role within the Chief Analytics Office.
This person will work alongside consultants, managers, and senior data scientists to implement IT solutions based on AI and Machine Learning models in order to enhance business performance.
The positions main role and responsibilities include:

- Interact with stakeholders, technical leaders and data scientists to understand the technical requirements;
- Implement the technical requirements using the necessary programming language and technology;
- Deal with relational and non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL) in order to explore, understand, extract and transform (ETL) data;
- Use of Agile framework and best practices for software development;
- Implement complete solution modules including: design, coding, unit testing and deployment plans;
- Collaborate in a team environment.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- BS in Computing Science or IT-related field
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience in Java, JavaScript or similar programming language
- Experience with code versioning, GitHub or other related tools/technologies
- Experience with database technologies, data structures, relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with containerization environments: Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Good communication skills to be able to interact with people from other countries (English required)
- Experience with Agile framework (Practices, Ceremonies, Jira, Trello, Mural, etc)
- A strong desire to learn new skills and excitement towards undertaking challenging transformations
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment, giving guidance to junior team members on specific areas of expertise

**Specialization / previous experience with FrontEnd is preferable (Angular, React)
- English intermediate

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- MS in Computing Science or IT-related field
- Experience and/or coursework with common Python libraries used by data scientists (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, Seaborn, etc.)
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., spark, Hadoop, etc.)
- Quality assurance and testing tools
- Experience deploying analytical models in a cloud environment to solve business problems
