Azure DevOps Technical Specialist
JobSummary
The Technical Specialist in DevOps Solutions, specializingin Azure DevOps, is responsible for overseeing the implementation,maintenance, and enhancement of DevOps processes and solutions usingAzure DevOps. The role involves collaborating with cross functionalteams to streamline software development and deployment processes,aiming to improve efficiency, quality, and speed in deliveringsoftware solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implementDevOps strategies utilizing Azure DevOps tools andservices.
Automate software development, testing, deployment, andmonitoring processes.
Collaborate with development and operationsteams to ensure smooth integration and efficient delivery of softwareproducts.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build,deployment, and release processes.
Implement security measureswithin the devops pipeline to ensure data protection andcompliance.
Provide technical guidance and support to team memberson devops best practices.
Continuously evaluate and improve DevOpspractices to enhance overall system performance andreliability.
Skill Requirements
Proficiency in Azure DevOpstools and services
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines andtheir implementation using Azure DevOps
Azure DevOps tools likeAzure Pipelines, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, and AzureMonitor
Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration(Kubernetes) technologies
Ability to work in an agile environmentand apply agile principles to DevOps practices
Familiarity withscripting languages like PowerShell, bash, or Python
Hands-onexperience on provisioning and configuring IaaS and PaaS services likevirtual machines, app services, databases, storage account, virtualnetwork, function app, data factory, key vault, service bus, eventgrid, databricks etc
Expertise with Infrastructure as Codeautomation tools and languages (Terraform, ARM, PowerShell, etc.) ishighly desired
Experience with setting up Logging and Monitoringsolutions using Log Analytics workspace, App Insights and AzureMonitor
Understanding of concepts like High Availability,Clustering, Failover and Disaster Recovery in theCloud.
Understanding of application layer protocols, such asHTTP/S, TCP/IP, UDP and Web sockets.
Demonstrated abilities withSSO-related software such as ADFS, Ping Identity, OpenSSO, oAuth, Oktaor other SAML & OpenID Connect providers.
Understanding of Webapplication security and concepts, such as Ticketing, headerinjection, XSS, SSL, HTTPS, Kerberos, certificates, Active Directory,LDAP, reverse proxies and firewalls
AdvancedEnglish
Certifications: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certificationis preferred.
