Senior Front End React Developer needed to join our engineering team. We are looking for someone to join us either on a permanent or contract basis to work on an AI-based platform.
This role requires you to relocate to Portugal, which we support.

What you’ll be doing:

• Creating prototypes and high-quality, production-ready React/NextJS single-page applications.
• Driving forward quality in code, unit testing, accessibility, performance, and code reviews.
• Delivering on an Agile workstream of front-end developers, contributing to daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and estimates.
• Confidently communicating with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Building modular layouts, reusable code, and libraries for future use.
• Representing front-end in client-facing interactions.
• Collaborating with design and marketing teams to gather and refine specifications and requirements.
• Involving in existing and new integrations for the platform.
• Owning projects end-to-end from idea to delivery, including maintenance, expansion, and scaling.
• Staying current with evolving standards and technologies, learning new skills as needed.
• Mentoring junior team members.

What we want from you:

• Strong commercial experience with React development and a solid understanding of core concepts.
• Experience with serverless and server-side development with NextJS.
• Understanding of state management technologies like Redux or Flux.
• Extensive experience with TypeScript (or Flow), with a preference for TypeScript.
• Mastery of semantic HTML5, CSS3 (SASS or LESS), and modern JavaScript (ES6+), adhering to industry standards.
• Experience with unit testing, end-to-end testing, and regression testing (using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, including story point estimation, refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Experience developing components with Storybook.
• Knowledge of current front-end best practices: performance, accessibility, SEO, security, usability.
• Experience using GIT in a large team with CI/CD practices.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with team and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in responsive layouts, cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Experience working on SPA solutions, ideally in e-commerce.
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack and task runners like Grunt.
• Willingness to contribute to both large and small projects.
• Experience integrating with external third-party systems.

If you know some of this, even better:

• Experience with eCommerce platforms like Magento, Hybris, Shopify.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms such as AEM, Sitecore, SFCC.
• Knowledge of Node.js, Express, SQL, AWS Lambda.
• Experience with Java, Node.js, C#, PHP projects.
