Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in mobile automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing mobile applications, working closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in mobile automation testing and 3 years in SDET roles.
3. Hands-on experience with native automation tools like XCUITest (iOS) and Espresso (Android). Experience with frameworks such as Robolectric, Compose (Android) is a plus.
4. Proficiency in programming languages like Kotlin or Swift.
5. Experience collaborating with developers for code inspections, bug identification, and early issue detection.
6. Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, UI components, and performance constraints.
7. Experience with version control systems like Git.
8. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
9. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
2. Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
3. Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Firebase Performance Monitoring.
4. Contributions to open-source mobile automation projects or communities.
