About the project:

As a Software Developer Engineer Test, you will work directly on an existing Appium framework in TypeScript. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the Roku app's test suite is up-to-date and functional and maintains a high-quality standard across various devices. This role involves collaborating closely with the development team to maintain, update, and expand the test coverage for all Roku features.

You will be able to:

• Assimilate the existing Appium testing framework (TypeScript) to support the Roku application.
• Maintain and expand automated tests for new and existing features.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues within the test suite.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members.
• Work across various device types to ensure app functionality.
• Utilize GitHub Actions to manage CI/CD workflows.
• Leverage Atlassian tools for project tracking and documentation.

What will help you succeed in this role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ Years of experience with Automation Testing (Appium).
• 1+ Years of experience with TypeScript.
• 1+ Years of experience with CI/CD processes.
• Experience working with Swift, and iOS.
• Experience with Device Automation (TVOS or Roku) is a plus.
• Advanced English Level is required.
