We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in AMERICAS at Campinas, Brazil.

Job Purpose:

Develop and implement best local / country specific procurement strategies towards the acquisition of products and services to perform DHL’s operations, leading the country procurement team, identifying and recommending, maintaining, and developing a 'best in class' supply base, and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders.

Your tasks:

• Integrate Procurement services at the country level for the business colleagues (divisions) in scope, achieving greatest value contribution, benefit realization, and efficiency from all procurement activities while ensuring customer satisfaction by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price, and service.
• Specialize in strategic sourcing of goods and services and transportation capacities to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business/function in scope.
• Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research/intelligence to support business decisions in investments and budgets, and establishment of local frame contracts.
• Identify strategic cluster specific sourcing opportunities and develop and manage strategic suppliers.
• Develop, maintain, and share thorough knowledge of regional markets/category trends and suppliers/regional players.
• Develop and implement country sourcing strategies and contribute to regional category sourcing strategies and initiatives.
• Prepare and lead strategic supplier negotiations of major contracts at the country level.
• Prepare, conduct, and lead tenders.
• Ensure effective implementation of DPDHL Procurement contracts.
• Ensure (sourcing, purchasing, company) policy adherence of local business colleagues.
• Conduct regional supplier management and identify new 'best in class' regional suppliers.
• Establish close relationships with regional/country Business Colleagues to ensure actual/future knowledge of demand and service quality; build and maintain a solid understanding of respective business needs.
• Ensure strong working relationships and cooperation with regional/country and corporate sourcing/category managers, strategic suppliers, and external partnerships.

Your profile:

Education Level

• Relevant university degree and/or equivalent
• MBA is a differentiator

Experience Level

• 8+ years of relevant experience in procurement
• 5+ years in team leading experience
• Experience with mid-sized project management
• Category experience for several categories including Warehouse equipment, Services
